PASSERINE HILLS ACADEMY (often called PASSERINE HILLS or THE GOLDEN CAGE) is an independent tertiary education facility, founded by Aurelia Lyrebird and Beatrice Terrell in the late 19th century. The academy operates in an unknown location, ensuring the privacy of its students, almost all of which are celebrities and artists. While Passerine Hills Scholarship Program exists, scholarship students are rare, being only 2,7% of all alumni.

The reasons for which Aurelia Lyrebird decided to create the academy are still an object of debates focusing on parasocial relationships, fan culture and the relationship between fame and mental health.
